This is a very helpful list from THE source, in my opinion, on photo copyright. Enjoy your read!
“Photographers have many misconceptions about copyright laws and intellectual property rights based on conversations they have had with colleagues and/or inaccurate information obtained from the Internet. My Top 10 List came about as a way to combat the spread of this misinformation” Attorney Carolyn Wright via a post on WPPI Online.

A Recent Portrait
I recently did a portrait of P.A. Nesbit. I shot it in color but I really think I prefer this one in black and white.
Stereogear
I am fortunate enough to have a steady gig with Stereophile Magazine. These are from this months, October’s, issue.
This is the cover…
On the way to a shoot in Northern New Mexico this sign caught my eye.
I think it was some sort of ode to Aaron Siskind.

Somewhere in Lubbock Texas
Somewhere driving around in Lubbock Texas there is a bus with a photo on it that we did for Dion’s Pizza. Kilmer and Kilmer put the ad together and got it adhered to the bus. Thanks to Anna Martinez of Kilmer and Kilmer for sending me the photo.
Local Motion on the TODAY show
My new Canon 5D Mark 2 shoots beautiful HD video. In February I teamed up with another photographer, Marc Vaughn my cousin from Florida, and we shot motion of the Inn on the Alameda and at the Santa Fe School of Cooking as a test to see how this new technology works and if it is a service that can be offered to our clients. While there is a large learning curve and it is a different animal than the still photograph we felt like we ended up with some decent footage. Well today the TODAY show did a story on Mother’s Day Getaways and featured 50 seconds of our footage and a few of my stills of the Inn. You can view it via this link: Mother’s Day Getaways, our segment is 3 minutes in. If you have any idea what 50 seconds of air time on the TODAY show is worth you will realize that I have a very happy client. Is the mixture of stills and motion part of my future as a photographer, definitely. Will you see a major motion picture from me in the future, probably not. But you will see me integrating motion into my work where I feel it will add to the end result.
